NAVITRONIC® Plus from Vögele

NAVITRONIC® Plus, the 3D control system developed by Vögele, adds a third dimension to the NIVELTRONIC® Plus automatic levelling system. The NAVITRONIC® Plus is integrated entirely into Vögele’s automatic levelling system.

Fully automatic and highly precise

NAVITRONIC® Plus uses digital design data not only for governing the conventional levelling of layer thickness and cross slope, but also for the fully automatic and high-precision control of paving level and paving direction without requiring a stringline.

Automatic control

The position of the road paver is continuously located during the paving operation via a total station and prism or GPS receiver respectively. The NAVITRONIC® Plus system from Vögele compares the measured data with the design data for the carriageway to be built. When detecting a deviation, the 3D system intervenes directly into the paver’s steering and height adjustment via the machine control system.

Open for any positioning system

The “Open Port” standard – meaning an “open interface” – makes the NAVITRONIC® Plus from Vögele compatible with the positioning systems of many renowned manufacturers. It can be operated using an optical system with total station and prism, or a satellite-based system with GPS receiver combined with laser transmitter.
