Technological leap is made from hot milling to cold milling

Development of the first machine for open-cast mining, the surface miner

The development of a cold recycler heralds a new era in environmentally beneficial road repair

Wirtgen focuses on slipform pavers for concrete paving and sets up a separate product division

The new generation of small milling machines from Wirtgen, with nine machine types, is rounded off by the rear-loading machines W 60 and W 100 and the front-loading machines W 100 F, W 120 F and W 130 F

Wirtgen sets new standards in milling technology with the newly developed W 150 large milling machine and the revolutionary WIDRIVE machine control system

The new Wirtgen KMA 220 mobile cold recycling mixing plant impresses with an even higher mixing capacity of up to 220 t/h in the production of high-quality cold mixes

Start of production in the new plant for special machinery. The premises of Wirtgen GmbH now cover 320,000 square metres

Wirtgen presents the high-performance 4200 SM surface miner, setting new trends in the range of tried-and-tested machines for opencast mining and underscoring its mining expertise of many decades.

2010


With the W 200 and W 210, Wirtgen launches two truly efficient models in the large milling machine range. They broaden the portfolio to a total of 17 cold milling machines.

2010

The SP 15 and SP 25 models represent an innovative generation of special-purpose machines for concrete paving which are distinctive not only for their high levels of economic efficiency and productivity but for numerous practical features as well.

2011


The launch of the W 250 marks the advent of an absolutely high-performance cold milling machine with a maximum power rating of 731 kW/994 PS and a maximum flexibility in this respect.
